Laura Gallagher
Welcome to Peace Together
I’m Laura Gallagher, a psychotherapist and life coach, and the founder of Peace Together Psychotherapy. I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or ready for meaningful change.
I qualified as a psychotherapist in 2018. After graduating, I took time out to be a full-time mother — an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of emotional wellbeing, identity, and the realities of modern life. In 2021, I returned to practice and established Peace Together Psychotherapy, creating a calm, supportive and genuinely person-centred space for healing and growth.
I take an integrative approach, tailoring therapy to each individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. My work draws from CBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic and trauma-informed approaches, with coaching elements woven in where helpful. I also hold diplomas in Life Coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), completed during the lockdown period. Ongoing training and upskilling are very important to me, and I remain committed to continuous professional development.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, abuse, relationship difficulties, ADHD, autism, and body image concerns, among others.
At the heart of my work is empathy, compassion and unconditional positive regard. I am a strong listener and deeply people-focused. My aim is to empower clients — helping them develop awareness, self-trust and resilience, and to move forward at a pace that feels right for them.
I am genuinely passionate about what I do. I don’t just talk the talk — I walk the walk. I believe in the value of therapy and in the real, lasting change it can bring. Peace Together Psychotherapy is a space where you can feel heard, supported, and gently guided toward a more grounded and connected way of living.
